Adam Rogers

AR:S is a design studio in Portland, Maine focusing on developing and prototyping concepts for outside manufacture. Each design solution embraces and celebrates the process of its making, often emphasizing the construction details.

Adam's designs have earned a number of awards such as Best of NYCxDesign, Best of Neocon, Interior Design Magazine's Best of Year, Architizer A+ Award, MetropolisLikes, and Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design's Good Design Award, and have been featured in numerous publications including Wallpaper, Metropolis, Architectural Digest, Dwell, Interior Design, and Contract. Adam Rogers : Studio was established in 2017, following his tenure as Director of Design + Product Development at Thos. Moser.

Committed to sharing his passion for design and craft, Adam has served as a full time visiting professor at the School for American Crafts at RIT for two years, as a visiting professor at the Maine College of Art, and teaches workshops within the disciplines nationally and internationally. He is currently on the faculty at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. He has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Furniture Design + Woodworking.

Adam served as a Grant Panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts for FY2020 and is currently a board member for the non-profit Maine Crafts Association.
