AR:S is a design studio in Portland, Maine dedicated to the creation of lasting objects, with an emphasis on the craft of woodworking and a respect for natural materials.

Currently focusing on developing and prototyping concepts for outside manufacture, each design solution embraces and celebrates the process of its making, using simple forms and amplified details as vehicles.

Adam's designs have earned a number of awards such as Best of Neocon, Interior Design Magazine's Best of Year, Architizer A+ Award, MetropolisLikes, and Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design's Good Design Award, and have been featured in numerous publications including Wallpaper, Metropolis, Architectural Digest, Dwell, Interior Design, and Contract. Adam was named one of New England Home Magazine's 5 under 40 in 2015.  AR:S was established in 2017,  following his tenure as Director of Design + Product Development at Thos. Moser.

Adam is currently serving as a visiting professor at the School for American Crafts at RIT where he teaches full time in the Woodworking + Furniture Design department.
